We're cranking up the music and rolling out the hot pink carpet for an additional epic chapter of Bella Ballet right here in the heart of the charming Kentlands community. After a decade of making vibrant strides and nurturing amazing families in this spirited neighborhood, it's time to pull back the curtain and introduce you to our second location "Empower by Bella Ballet."
Empower by Bella Ballet is more than just a dance studio. It's a safe haven for children ages 7-18 where we don't just provide professional and cutting edge dance techniques; We aspire to inspire, to empower our youth to become more than dancers - to become leaders, change-makers, and confident individuals. We cultivate an environment that encourages life-affirming values of resilience, leadership, inclusivity, and kindness. We promote a culture that uplifts every dancer to have a strong sense of self-esteem and body image, celebrates diversity, and we stand fiercely against bullying with unwavering resolve.
Community sits at the heart of Empower by Bella Ballet. We're passionate about fostering a philanthropic spirit within our young dancers, involving them in monthly community outreach activities and hosting special events to support beloved local charities including "Comfort Cases", "The Tree House Mid-Atlantic", and "Nourish Now". Our goal is to show our dancers that they can make a difference, inspiring them to be active contributors to their community.

Meet Our Founder
Hope MacDonald founded Bella Ballet in 2013 with a simple dream: to create a space where every young dancer could discover their potential. With decades of performance and teaching experience, Hope built Empower to take that mission further — preparing dancers for stages everywhere while never losing the warmth of family.
