Kentlands Dance School: Nurturing Young Talent with Engaging and Fun Dance Classes

In 2013, Bella Ballet opened its doors as a nurturing dance school, dedicated to cultivating confident ballerinas, one twirl at a time. The cherished studio, where our youngest dancers aged 2-7 step into the magical world of dance, and embark on their journey with love and encouragement, continues to thrive at our flagship location.

And as our ballerinas have grown, so has our business!

We're cranking up the music and rolling out the hot pink carpet for an additional epic chapter of Bella Ballet right here in the heart of the Kentlands community. After a decade of making vibrant strides and connecting with  amazing families in this charming neighborhood, it's time to pull back the curtain and introduce our second location 

“Empower by Bella Ballet.”

Empower by Bella Ballet is more than just a dance studio. It's an intentional studio for children ages 7-18 where we provide more than professional and cutting-edge dance classes for kids; We inspire and empower our youth to become more than dancers - to become leaders, change-makers, and confident individuals. We cultivate an environment that encourages life-affirming values of resilience, leadership, inclusivity, and kindness. We promote a culture that uplifts every dancer to have a strong sense of self-esteem and body image, celebrates diversity, and stands fiercely against bullying.

Community sits at the heart of Empower by Bella Ballet. We're passionate about fostering a philanthropic spirit within our young dancers, involving them in monthly community outreach activities and hosting special events to support beloved local charities including “Comfort Cases”, “The Tree House Mid-Atlantic”, and “Nourish Now”. Our goal is to show our dancers that they can make a difference, inspiring them to be active contributors to their community.
