Join our award-winning competition teams. Auditions are open to current students and new dancers ready for the next level.

Dress Code
- Ages 9-18
- Black leotard
- Black leggings or tights and black shorts
- Hair pulled back in a clean middle part low bun
What to Expect
- Dancers will learn 2 or 3 combinations in Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Jazz
- There will be a short across the floor section to show technique
- If your dancer has never done some of these styles before, that's ok - they just need to do their best!
- Judges will evaluate: ability to perform, adaptability, individuality, personality, and overall technique/skills
Results
Dancers will be notified which team they have been placed on June 12th!
Audition FAQs
Do I need to prepare anything for the audition?
No prepared piece is required. Dancers will learn choreography during the audition from our faculty. Just come ready to dance and show your best self!
What should I wear to the audition?
Wear form-fitting dancewear (leotard and tights for ballet, or fitted athletic wear for jazz/contemporary). Have appropriate shoes for each style.
Can new students audition?
Yes! New dancers are welcome to audition. We recommend taking a placement class before auditions so we can assess your current level.
When will we find out the results?
Team placements will be emailed within one week of auditions. We take time to carefully consider each dancer's fit with our teams.
